I joined the IELTS introduction workshop at Kaartdijin Oasis with the goal of relocating to the UAE or the UK with my family. This session gave me valuable clarity on the importance of IELTS and how achieving a good score can support my visa and immigration plans. As someone who had very little prior knowledge about IELTS and other required English language courses, I now have a much better understanding of the process and what steps I need to take moving forward. The workshop was a great introductory experience, and I appreciated the opportunity to interact with someone based in the UAE. Overall, it was an informative and motivating session that has guided me toward my next steps for achieving my goals.
The training has given me some self-awareness about my workplace style plus it was an opportunity to learn about the challenges faced by my peers making the process highly collaborative. To anyone considering the training I would suggest that it is a good investment in yourself and go with an open mind. Be ready to unlearn old habits and challenge your current thought process. I had some valuable insights on emotional intelligence, workplace behaviour patterns and also how to unlearn old thoughts and ideas in order to make way for new learnings.
